Original Pueo Painting
The Pueo painting depicts the short-eared owl that is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. It is considered an ‘aumākua (ancestor spirit) and is endangered on the island of O’ahu.
It is painted with acrylic and enamel on a 5″x7″ canvas panel in a rustic wood frame. Although the Original has sold, Giclee prints on canvas and paper prints are still available.
These are hand-signed, ready to hang, high quality Giclee inkjet reproductions nearly as beautiful as the original work. They are gallery wrapped around a 1.5″ stretcher bar frame, printed with archival pigment-based ink, and coated with a UV varnish that will extend the life of your art. Please allow up to two weeks for your prints to be shipped from the time ordered since custom stretcher bars must be made and the Giclee must be stretched at the time of the order.
These are hand-signed museum quality prints with pigment based inks printed on archival, glossy paper. Each print is wrapped in a clear sleeve and backed with a stiff foam board. This paper print is borderless and the image runs all the way to the edge of the print.
