Original Pirate Ship Art 

This piece of pirate ship art depicts how there are many tales to be told by the sea; stories buried by time existing only in fragments. Sunken Head is one of those stories. A mystery of a merchant, pirate, or naval officer whose remnants are now becoming a part of the ocean floor.

Sunken Head is painted with acrylic and enamel on a 8″x10″canvas panel. The frame is custom made from Purple Heart wood which is native to tropical parts of Central and South America. It is one of the hardest woods in the world. With the frame, this work measures 11″x14″ in total.  Although the original painting has sold canvas and paper print options are still available.  

Canvas Prints

These are hand-signed, ready to hang, high quality Giclee inkjet reproductions nearly as beautiful as the original work.  They are gallery wrapped around a 1.5″ stretcher bar frame, printed with archival pigment-based ink, and coated with a UV varnish that will extend the life of your art. Please allow up to two weeks for your prints to be shipped from the time ordered since custom stretcher bars must be made and the Giclee must be stretched at the time of the order. 

Paper Prints

These are hand-signed museum quality prints with pigment based inks printed on archival, glossy paper.  Each print is wrapped in a clear sleeve and backed with a stiff foam board.  Paper prints have a white border and are ready to frame since they come in a standard frame size.
