Original Octopus Art
This is a unique piece of octopus art that depicts the oceans master of disguise the cephalopod. This piece was based on the Hawaiian octopus which is called He’e in the Hawaiian language. However the Japanese word tako is more commonly used throughout the Hawaiian Islands when talking about this wonderful sea creature. There is even a restaurant here on the Big Island of Hawaii called Tako Taco, but if you are like me you would never eat one because these he’e are pretty awesome! This piece was painted with acrylic and enamel on a mounted birch panel. It measures 12″x12″ and is ready to hang!
These are hand-signed, ready to hang, high quality Giclee inkjet reproductions nearly as beautiful as the original work. They are gallery wrapped around a 1.5″ stretcher bar frame, printed with archival pigment-based ink, and coated with a UV varnish that will extend the life of your art. Please allow up to two weeks for your prints to be shipped from the time ordered since custom stretcher bars must be made and the Giclee must be stretched at the time of the order.
These are hand-signed museum quality prints with pigment based inks printed on archival, glossy paper. Each print is wrapped in a clear sleeve and backed with a stiff foam board. Paper prints have a white border and are ready to frame since they come in a standard frame size.
