Original Day of the Dead Art
This is a still life that references to my birthday of November 2nd which is also the Mexican holiday of The Day of the Dead. The title means “skull with marigolds” and I view this piece as a birthday shrine or cake with candle. Although the original has sold there are still a few print options available.
Craneo con Cempasuchiles is painted with acrylic and enamel on a 4″x6″ birch panel in a ornate black wooden frame, measuring 8.5″x10″ in total.
Canvas Prints
These are hand-signed, ready to hang, high quality Giclee inkjet reproductions nearly as beautiful as the original work. They are gallery wrapped around a 1.5″ stretcher bar frame, printed with archival pigment-based ink, and coated with a UV varnish that will extend the life of your art. Please allow up to two weeks for your prints to be shipped from the time ordered since custom stretcher bars must be made and the Giclee must be stretched at the time of the order.
Paper Prints
These are hand-signed museum quality prints with pigment based inks printed on archival, glossy paper. Each print is wrapped in a clear sleeve and backed with a stiff foam board. Paper prints have a white border and are ready to frame since they come in a standard frame size.
